From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel at home. The entrance opens directly into a spacious and inviting lounge, featuring exposed wooden beams, a generous open fire and cosy décor.
Relax on the comfortable three-seater sofa or love seat, unwind with a book, or enjoy evenings in front of the Smart TV with Netflix included. A charming reading nook is filled with antiques, books and board games, perfect for slow mornings or cosy nights in.
A short set of stairs leads to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, complete with:
Dining table for relaxed meals, Electric oven, Fridge freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine
We provide tea, coffee and sugar, along with a cafetière for your morning brew.
You’ll also find all the everyday essentials including salt, pepper, cooking oil, kitchen roll, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher tablets and laundry supplies.
A small selection of welcome treats awaits you on arrival; including something special for your dog if they’re joining you.
Upstairs, the landing leads to a beautifully appointed and spacious bedroom featuring a king-size bed dressed with fresh, high-quality bedding and plush towels.
A stunning soaking bath sits within the bedroom itself, creating a truly indulgent space to unwind and relax, complemented by a dedicated vanity area for getting ready in comfort.
The separate bathroom offers a walk-in shower alongside a quirky sink and stylish fittings, finished with overhead lighting using rechargeable bulbs, with chargers provided for convenience.
A really lovely place to spend some time. Nicely decorated. Well maintained. Super cosy. Great location. Everything you will need. Some nice details around the place. Christmas tree and some other festive bits a nice touch. Great communication from owner too. Much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

This little gem of a cottage was absolutely perfect for a pre Christmas mini break for me and my dog. The property was immaculate and was furnished and decorated beautifully - it was lovely and cosy and there were special little touches all through the house, I loved the bath with bath salts and rose petals, I built a fire every night which was ideal for relaxing after long walks and the kitchen has everything you need - plus the coop is just over the road. There are walks just out of the front door and many other stunning walks a short drive away plus all the amenities of keilder and national park. Nicky was super helpful and friendly and I will definitely be back next time I need some r&r!

Groom’s Cottage is a beautiful and well equipped cottage in the heart of Bellingham. It’s really warm and cosy. I found the reading nook relaxing after a walk in the snow. I’d recommend it for anyone wanting a comfortable place to chill out.
